Hi! We’re Jeremy and Sandi Detwiler. For the past 34 years, each time we were ready for a newer or additional vehicle, Jeremy insisted on going south to get it. He has always been able to do all of the maintenance and repairs for our vehicles, but working on rusty cars was his nemesis–his most important prerequisite for our next car was that it hadn’t seen a lot of snow and salt. It was always a fun adventure to find a few cars on the computer that looked like they might fit the bill, pack up for a weekend trip and see if we could find our new car!

We learned a lot over all those trips and started doing the same for other family members. We love to drive and for many years dreamed of a job that would take us on the road! We had thought years ago on one of those trips that we could somehow make a business bringing southern cars up to the northern states.

Fast forward to 2023 when we met Basil and Rula at Solomon Cars. My son knew EXACTLY what kind of car he was looking for and we knew it had to come from the south–Basil was able to find us EXACTLY what we were looking for! We paid him a very reasonable fee for buying the exact car we were looking for and saving us A LOT of money since a dealer has a lot more resources to choose from! Not to mention all the time he saved us! It didn’t take us long at all to decide we would LOVE to do the same thing and looked into getting a dealer license. We’re so excited to start this new adventure in our lives and sincerely look forward to helping people find great cars at reasonable prices just like Basil has done for the past 25+ years! We are SO THANKFUL to have Basil and Rula teaching us the ropes!
